内容説明

This book is designed as a core text for a school finance course. It uses computer simulations to extend the discussions of school finance formulas into the application stage. Two simulations allow students to manipulate various school finance formulas and analyze their fiscal, political and equity impacts. The book analyzes school finance issues in the real world of state politics. There are extended discussions of alternative politics and of alternative revenue sources with a specific focus on the property tax. The latter chapters begin outlining strategies to improve educational productivity.
