Description
Do the police accurately identify whether a suspect is psychologically vulnerable, for example mentally ill or intoxicated, before interrogation? This study investigated the question by assessing suspects prior to their being interviewed by the police and by examining how readily psychological vulnerabilities can be identified without formal testing. The recommendations made in this book should assist the police in the identification of vulnerable individuals.
