内容説明
This book is an account of testicular descent and cryptorchidism. Both old and new theories of testicular descent are discussed and brought together in a unifying hypothesis which provides a fresh view of a complex problem. The clinical section of the book provides practical advice about diagnosis and an overview of surgical and medical treatment and then discusses the timing of surgery, the role of hormone treatment, and the potential for completely new forms of therapy. References are given at the end of each chapter.
