Description

The field of Medicine is moving quickly towards different specializations. It is emerging from a stage of unequal development in its component branches, and reaching one where it is possible to consider again the whole of medical knowledge as an intellectual continuum. Following on from informal discussions among the scientists of the Institute of Medical Sciences, the general feeling was that a lot of interest would be generated by holding a meeting with a view to considering the most important and distinctive advances in clinical research brought about by developments in molecular biology. Eminent scientists were invited to participate. This proceedings volume contains the transactions of this special meeting.

Table of Contents

  • molecular aspects in haematologic malignancies
