This book describes the competition law provisions of both UK and EEC law, providing an understanding of the potential scope and application of the various legal provisions which currently exist. The second part of the book analyzes specific competition law problems of a contextual basis, comparing and contrasting the different approaches of the UK and the EEC. The author refers to recent developments, including decisions by the European Court of Justice and the European Commission ,which have developed the law into new areas such as franchising, "know-how" licensing, and joint ventures. There has also been similar development in case law in the UK.
