Description
Providing a systematic overview of the technology available for the treatment of municipal waste waters for use in power stations, this book provides a summary of a neglected topic. The authors take into account the conditions which need to be considered in the composition of municipal waste waters. They look at the best ways to classify the composition of specific pollutants, together with the sanitary and hygienic problems which have to be considered when using municipal waste waters in power stations. Ways in which power station water treatment technology can be interconnected with methods of treatment at municipal works are discussed, and practical examples and possible project designs help to illustrate and clarify the text.
