Description

Sexual assault on college campuses is a major problem, yet very few cases are reported. A small percentage are pursued through campus judicial procedures and an even smaller number are reported to the police, but of those only a fraction result in conviction. Further, campus authorities have often mishandled such cases, causing additional trauma to the victim. "Sexual Assault on Campus" examines what happens in the wake of a sexual assault and probes such issues as why so few women report an assault, why so many cases are mishandled, and, most importantly, what is the best way to deal with such an assault when it does occur.
