Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book is intended for anyone in the field of thermometry and temperature control. This two-volume set contains the refereed papers arising from a meeting of the principal researchers in thermometry worldwide, including Terry Quin, Hugh Preston-Thomas, Ralph Hudson, B.W. Magnum, G.T. Furakawa, Richard Busby and Franco Pavese. The meeting is held every ten years. Among topics discussed are thermodynamics, temperature scales, fixed points, resistance, thermocouples and radiation.
