Description
A study combining the results of field assessment of biomass with advanced techniques in remote sensing by satellite giving the first comprehensive picture of biomass distribution in the Southern African Development Cordination Conference countries. The techniques are described, biomass is classified and its distribution by class through the nine SADCC countries is given. Woody biomass resources and supplies are analyzed.
