Description
This is the first directory of the Library Association's Industrial Group. Details are given for approximately 1,600 members employed in or otherwise meeting the needs of library and information services in industry, commerce and manufacturing. This book, as well as listing the member's name and place of work, indicates the type of business worked for and the members own areas of expertise. The detailed indexes make it easy to locate members by county or by overseas address, also by name of employer and by industrial sector, and by the following types of software used: cataloguing, communications, database, library management, programming, spreadsheet, text retrieval and word processing.
