内容説明
This is an analysis of the struggle between Israel's hawks and doves for control of national policy. As he explores the inner workings of Israel's major parties - Likud, Labor, and the National Religious party - the author assesses the interaction between domestic political combat, internal succession and identity crises, and Israeli policy on key peace process issues. He weighs likely shifts in the dove/hawk balance and the territorial, Palestinian, and negotiating policies they are likely to produce. His focus on likely developments in the conservative camp reflects his long-held conviction that the hawks will determine Israel's future policies.
