Note
"The present volume reprints all the poems from my five individual books of verse, together with the three 'Hymns to Our Lady of Chartres,' which are here appearing in print for the first time ... I have felt impelled to alter words and phrases here and there"--P. 199
Description and Table of Contents
Description
This volume represents the first "Collected Poems" by Geoffrey Hill, as well as the first retrospective edition of his work. Hill is considered by some critics as one of the top five poets writing today, producing poetry that is dense, allusive and imaginative.
