内容説明
"Modern Macroeconomic Analysis" is a comprehensive macroeconomics text designed for intermediate undergraduates in economics, which brings up-to-date research within the grasp of the intermediate-level student. It achieves this by describing the main macroeconomic models, focusing particularly on the relationshop between long run trends and cyclical fluctuations. The debate between New Classical macroeconomics and Keynesian and New Keynesian macroeconomics is central to the text. Each chapter contains two separate units which focus on research and applications of the theory to the UK, US and other European economies. There are end-of-chapter questions to test the student's comprehension, and for more advanced students, the difficult maths has been either clearly marked or placed in an appendix.
