内容説明
This postgraduate multi-author monograph addresses a vital issue associated with the management of the critically ill patient. It will consider the clinical implications of oxygen transport under two major sections. The first will address the principles of oxygen transport in relation to physiology, measurement and therapy. The second will examine a series of clinical conditions related to inadequate oxygen transport. For each of the clinical conditions the following issues will be addressed: i) Clinical features of the patient ii) Pathophysiology pertinent to oxygen transport iii) How and when to make oxygen transport measurements iv) Therapy - to include a review of published treatment strategies and an appraisal of the relative merits of these strategies. .
