Description
Conservation of ground water quantity and quality has become one of the emerging problems facing civil engineers. This proceedings volume reviews the direction of future research and the current state-of-the-art technology. Topics include practical use and pitfalls of numerical models, reliability of predictions, strengths and limitations of coupled flow / transport / geochemical models, ground water management / water resources, the macrodispersion equipment, partially saturated models, and use of ground water flow / transport modelling for aquifer evaluation.
