内容説明

Exploratory studies show how the theory of socioemotional bonds (attachment) casts new light on seemingly disparate adult disturbances often recognized but not well understood by clinicians. These include father-daughter incest, battered women, child abusing mothers, bereaved mates, prostitutes, and abused and neglected adolescents.Findings provide insights that readily make intuitive sense to clinicians and all that work synergistically with family systems object-relations, and psychodynamic orientations.

目次

Contents: Developmental research has shown the viability of constructs of secure, resistant, and avoidant attachment. These studies explore how such constructs may also be viewed as developmental prototypes encompassing later personality outcomes and may help us better understand some baffling disturbances in adult bonding behavior.
