This brings together accounts of the interface between education, social welfare and community. The contributors are all active in the politics of practice and provide an account of current and continuing realities of community education. Community education is a field which has attracted the critical attention not only of academics but also of enthusiasts throughout education. This book brings together contributions from leading figures who have a particular interest in the interface between education, social welfare and the community.
