Description
This book is written in Spanish. This book is a study of the intellectual and cultural atmosphere surrounding the Spanish author don Francisco de Quevedo (1580-1645) during his stay at the Courts of Palermo and Naples (1613-1619) in the service of the Viceroy Duke of Osuna. Attention is paid particularly to his early knowledge of the works of the poet Marino, his role as protector of the Arts, and as intercessor on behalf of the philosopher Campanella. The second part of the book offers a detailed analysis of the author's writings during his Italian and post-Italian years as a result of his experience in Italy.
