内容説明

Human existence is incorporated into the Spinozian framework and worldview. This book explains, links, and applies several areas of Spinoza's thought on human life. It is a comprehensive presentation rather than a piecemeal study of features of Spinoza's thought. The Ethics is interpreted in the spirit of its author, as a guide to the free life. The study brings out the aesthetic dimension of Spinoza's Ethics: the central message being the possibility of fulfillment of human essence in freedom and joy. The book was written in this spirit.

目次

Contents: The Ethics is situated within the context of the person's existence. The text and the reading are personalized. The concept of existential essence is developed in terms of the individual's striving for creative self-expression.
