Description
The essays in this collection focus on the need for a radical rethink of current economic policy in Northern Ireland. They cover regional economic development, North/South co-operation, labour market discrimination, and policies for both small firms and multinationals. The authors argue, however, that to create such a framework, and so the conditions for modern regional development, Northern Ireland needs new structures of governance, based on a further disconnection from the mainland.
