Description
Recent years have seen a growth in the engineering applications of transputers. International activities in the area have provided attractive, cost effective and innovative solutions to a vast range of challenging problems in science and engineering. The success of this take up of transputer technology is reflected in the variety and volume of articles included in this third Applications of Transputers publication. It represents one of the largest technical works on the subject to date, containing over 130 articles from 25 countries. The volume highlights key developments in the areas of signal processing, image processing, communications, control and instrumentation, robotics, biomedical applications, algorithm development, tools and environments, graphics, databases, simulation and modelling and more, with an emphasis on the application to industrially relevant projects.
