内容説明
This volume brings together the work of scientists from different fields of biological/biomedical research whose activities concentrate on cellular adhesion related to a variety of physiological and pathophysiological conditions. In this respect, the common players among diverse biological systems are the multifunctional adhesive protein, vitronectin and . related components; several chapters are devoted to the role of vitronectin receptors in relation to different physiological settings. This volume will be of great value to haematologists, cell biologists, clinical biochemists and immunologists, and molecular biologists.
