内容説明

A companion to the "International Classification of Primary Care", this book presents the results from studies into the use of ICPC in the European Community, the classification in nine languages, and the ICPC to ICD-10 conversion. Since the publication of the first book in 1988, general practitioners/primary care physicians from all over Europe have investigated the use of ICPC in harmonizing and standardizing patient-orientated information in primary care in the European Community. In this book recent developments on the use of ICPC are reviewed; reports on the use of ICPC in European countries are presented; there is an ATC-compatible drug classification in the framework of ICPC; and a multi-language layer in nine languages; the final part of the book gives the editors' conclusions and recommendations. The accompanying disk carries the ICPC drug list, with conversion to ATC codes; the conversion from ICPC to ICD-10 codes, and the "multi-language layer" of the ICPC codes in 16 European languages. Henk Lamberts and Maurice Wood are co-editors of "International Classification of Primary Care", "WONCA: IC-Procress-PC: International Classification of Process in Primary Care" and "WONCA: ICHPPC-2-Defined: International Classification of Health Problems in Primary Care".
