内容説明

Dedicated to inorganic systems in superacidic media, this work covers various groups of inorganic cations and considers the generation and stability of that group in all four of the superacids HF, HSO3F, CF3SO3H and H2SO4, as well as in chloroaluminate. Where possible, it also considers the behaviour of these cations in aqueous solution. The general aim of the book is to demonstrate that solute speciation depends on the acidity or basicity of non-aqueous media as for water.

目次

  • Self-ionization and acid-base equilibria in protonic and non-protonic liquids
  • experimental determination of solute speciation and of acidity and basicity in highly acidic media
  • Lewis acidity in protonic superacids
  • polyatomic cations of non-metallic elements
  • homopolyatomic cations of metallic elements
  • transition element cations in "normal" oxidation states in protonic superacids and acidic melts
  • cations of transition elements in low oxidation states
  • polyatomic anions in basic media
  • principles underlying stabilization of cationic species in acidic media
  • earlier reactions revisited - future synthetic strategies.
