Description
In "Chance Acquaintances" Colette visits a health resort and she becomes an observer of the goings-on around a husband and his invalid wife. "Julie de Carneilhan" is set in pre-war Paris and tells the story of Julie and her ex-husband the Comte d'Espivant who has remarried a wealthy widow.
