Description
This volume reviews the latest progress in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of disseminated intravascular coagulation. It contains seven overviews and 38 papers with emphasis on the pathogenesis and clinical aspects of DIC, as well as on new therapeutic approaches in DIC. The new data presented here will hopefully encourage further basic research activities, as well as the transfer of research findings into clinical medicine. The volume should be of great value to hematologists, cardiologists, clinical biochemists and pharmacologists, methodologists and pathologists.
