Description
This edition of "Hanbury & Martin" is written with students' needs and interests as the primary consideration. The author's experience and involvement in teaching trusts law on a day-to-day basis to both undergraduates and post graduates means she is particularly aware of the necessity of clarity of expression combined with examples and illustrations to explain relevant points. Considerable case law development has affected fiduciary powers, transfer for unlawful purposes, fiduciaries. The chapters on trusts and the family have been re-written to take account of "Lloyds Bank plc v. Rosset". Also covered are the decisions in "Agip (Africa) Ltd v. Jackson" and "Lipkin Gorman v. Karpnale Ltd" Other recent developments covered include: the Charities Act 1992; numerous cases of every aspect of injunctions, in particular the "Factortame" case on injunctions against the Crown. The text also includes coverage of recent articles, Law Commission reports and Commonwealth Material. Pension trust cases are also thoroughly discussed.
