内容説明

Spain's ascension to the European Community in 1986 was symbolic of a new phase in its economic and political development, following years of isolationist policies under Franco's regime. With the advent of the Single Market, Spain has now emerged as an important member of the European Community. EC membership initially brought its own problems for the Spanish economy, but the contributors to this book feel that the difficulties of the 1980s have been largely overcome and that Spain may look to the future with optimism. This books forms part of a series of 11 volumes which attempt to compare and contrast each of the member states within the context of the European Community.
