Description and Table of Contents

Description

A collection of papers which demonstrates the role computational fluid dynamics has played in design, what validation has been possible and what are the overall economic benefits. Deeper technical issues underlying CFD are also included, as well as future needs for research into technology. Session areas cover process engineering, vehicle transport, heat exchangers and also fire and ventilation, to give an overview of the current state of the art in CFD applications. This volume should prove useful to engineers and scientists involved in the solution of fluid flow problems, or the design of process equipment, where optimization of performance is limited by knowledge of fluid physics, thermodynamics and chemistry.

Table of Contents

  • Visualization in CFD
