Description
This book provides an overview of the process of conversion from military to civilian production in the USSR since 1988. The author analyzes the economic and technological structure in which conversion operates, reviews the history of conversion and why it has not succeeded - taking into account the recent disintegration of the USSR - and suggests practical measures to be implemented in a genuine shift from military to civilian production.
