Description
This work describes the preclinical and clinical development of Filgrastim, a bacterially synthesized recominant protein, including its biology, biochemistry, structure and pharmacology. The authors show how Filgrastim can reduce the infectious complications of cancer therapy and discusses its potential in AIDS treatment.
