Description and Table of Contents
Description
The format of all 12 chapters follows closely the composition of a complete MRCP (UK), Part II written examination. Chapters begin with several colour X-ray plates corresponding to the projected materials sections of the examination; case histories of various length follow, and finally, a section on the interpretation of laboratory data, electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, electrophoretic strips and other investigations. At the end of each chapter there is a list of suggested answers, which are graded ideal, reasonable, possible or incorrect. The perspective candidate for higher medical training should be able to assess his or her factual knowledge, observational experience, and interpretive and deductive skills. Provided for postgraduate and undergraduate students as a way of learning medicine complementary to the necessary study of standard texts.
