内容説明

Swigg's study defines the achievement of the major contemporary English poet, Charles Tomlinson, by placing it within an Anglo-American tradition of objectivity. The relationship of poetry to history is discussed in terms of Tomlinson's political-historical poems and their close link to the verse of T. S. Eliot, Octavio Paz, and Orson Welles's film Citizen Kane.
