Description and Table of Contents
Description
Scientific advances in the field of perinatal medicine have been very rapid in the last decade. The aim of this book is to present the current status of the many interdisciplinary aspects involved in perinatal medicine, with special emphasis on perinatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies, perinatal nutrition, fetal and neonatal homeostasis, and the therapeutic aspects of their major derangements. The 2nd International Course held in November 1986 provided a forum for direct communication between those involved in perinatal biology and medicine. This volume contains 23 papers presented at the Course, in which specialists summarize the current knowledge in their particular field, and so provides a reference for researchers, practitioners and graduate students.
