Description

This handbook provides comprehensive coverage of general and speciality surgery. Combining an outline format with brief paragraphs, information is easily accessible, and understandable. The first four chapters cover general surgical aspects while the remaining 16 sections discuss the diagnosis and management of problems involving specific organs. Each chapter is generally organized as follows: diagnosis, differential diagnosis, complications, treatment and prognosis. The book concludes with an appendix defining the abbreviations used throughout the book.
