内容説明
This study deals with the geomorphological and ecological responses to both climate and anthropogenically induced change in drylands. Changes in both processes and the resulting forms (such as landforms and plant communities) are covered. An important element of many of the studies presented is the link between vegetation change and the functioning of geomorphological processes. The book presents material from Australia, North and Central America, Mediterranean Europe, Africa and Asia.
