The focus of this book is an examination of trends in the mechanisms which are found in inorganic redox chemistry. Electron transfer processes and atom transfer processes are discussed, and the limits at which one class of reaction ends and another begins are described. The development of theory is minimized and developed in context where the the descriptive and experimental approaches are dominant, reflecting current thinking. Examples of reactions are included throughout the text.
