内容説明
The demands of curriculum change throughout the United Kingdom have focused attention on the need to develop school library provision. The contributors examine this need by relating research findings, report literature and relevant theory to practical examples of effective learning resource management, including strategies to aid adequate financial provision. Library resources include both the school's learning resources (whether centralized or not) and appropriate library resources within the wider community including school library services, while learning resources include books, documents, computers and software and audiovisual media. In this text primary schools are given equal importance to secondary schools and the continuity of provision between the two phases is examined.
