Description
Whilst computer graphics and scientific visualization are already accepted as essential tools in engineering and scientific research, their incorporation into science and engineering education is just beginning. This volume aims to bridge the gulf between the research laboratory and the university classroom in this area and so stimulate an accelerated development. The papers, sourced from a broad range of intemational specialists, represent an amalgamation of cross-disciplinary expertise, spanning computer science and computational sciences. Indeed, it is clear throughout the book, that these disparate disciplines share common concerns about the needs of learners and the challenges to educators.
