Description
The objectives of this evaluation were: To estimate the achievements of Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) in creating net additional jobs in the Assisted Areas; to obtain a measure of the Exchequer cost per net additional job achieved; to assess the wider effects on the economies of the Assisted Areas; and to compare the results with those of a previous evaluation. The main conclusions indicate the success of RSA and the need for its continuance.
