内容説明
The second edition of Feline Medicine and Therapeutics is now available in paperback. Covering all aspects of feline disease and therapeutics, the text takes into account the advances made in the field over the last decade. Expanded by some 25%, Feline Medicine and Therapeutics includes 3 new chapters - Fluid Therapy, Immunology and Feline Immunodeficiency. The book is divided into three sections. The first covers the major organ systems and their diseases; the second infectious disease, especially the many serious viral diseases which are increasingly found and the final section considers aspects such as nutrition, poisoning, therapeutics and intensive care. Feline Medicine and Therapeutics is written very much with the practitioner in mind - where appropriate, each disease is fully discussed with clear sections on clinical signs, diagnosis, treatment and management. The text is supported by numerous illustrations, many of which are reproduced in full colour. "It is now the best book on feline medicine, and I give it my unreserved support." British Veterinary Journal
