内容説明

This book contrasts both wetland ecology and wetland management in the old and new worlds. The diversity of wetlands covered is extensive with discussions on many "crown jewel" wetlands of the world. Examples from the new world include patenal (Brazil), the Parana River Delta (Argentina), and the chesapeake bay (USA), amoung others. This book will be of great interest to all tidal/estuarine ecologists, ecological/environmental engineers, environmental scientists, and nature/landscape conservationists; it will help to provide new direction for the 21st century.
