This book provides students of European business and economics with a basic knowledge of the economic structures within the EC. All economies of the EC are covered, with extended sections on EC politics and developments, and each country survey has been written by an expert teaching economics in the country itself. Each chapter is supported by ample and up-to-date statistics from Eurostats and OECD. A bibliography, glossary of foreign terms and sources for further investigation at the end of each chapter make this book a useful and practical study tool. Finally, the last chapter provides the students with a comparative study of the countries covered.
