In the fast-growing economies of the region, vocational training programmes have been more effective than elsewhere in the region. This book examines whether training policy in those countries is considered a major issue, and to what extent formal and non-formal training provide support of the labour market. While concentrating on Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand, the book also reviews experience in SouthEast Asia in general.
