内容説明
This study approaches the subject of power with the theoretical sophistication of Clausewitz's "On War". It is a product of the practical wisdom the author has accumulated throughout his career in public relations. He outlines the nature and form of power, beginning with the simple notion that power is the ability to get things done. The book goes on to describe the varied mechanisms of power, the acquired mastery of power, the organization of power, the management of power, the communication of power, the emotions which power arouses (and the motivations for seeking power), and finally, the good ends to which power should aim. Throughout, Dilenschneider punctuates his arguments with personal anecdotes and historical precedents. Robert L. Dilenschneider is the author of "A Briefing for Leaders" and "Power and Influence".
