For this edition, greater emphasis has been placed on bankruptcy procedures. The subject matter is examined from both the creditor's and debtor's point of view and the section on Individual Voluntary Agreements (IVA) has been expanded, providing practial advice for those proposing an IVA on behalf of clients. Guidance on the effect of Confiscation and Restraint Orders and Insolvent Partnerships is also provided along with precedents and case law. Greater emphasis is placed on the practical aspects to help the practitioner who is not so familiar with the subject. It contains forms most commonly used in bankruptcy proceedings and also lists courts with bankruptcy jurisdiction and alternative courts.
