内容説明
Rising population in Africa has resulted in a growing demand for consumer goods and basic necessities (food, shelter, clothing, and energy), causing a dramatic decline in the environment. Documented through case studies and photographs are five basic ecological issues facing Africa: the destruction of wildlife; the decline of natural habitats; pollution; land degradation; and human shelter. International agencies roles in reversing the negative trends are examined.
