This book contains the information needed to conduct successful planning applications. Procedure is set out from the initial stages of interviewing a client through to the final decision of the planning authority. It provides advice on what questions to ask, what consents may be needed and how to determine whether planning permission is required. Information is also contained on how to challenge a planning decision, with tips on the procedure necessary to get the results a client needs. Full reference is made throughout to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning and Compensation Act 1991, and the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
