Description

This volume represents the corpus of scientific reports presented at the International Symposium on the Immunology and Immunopathology of the Eye. Researchers from all continents and from 18 countries were present, and over 110 reports were contributed for this publication. The most up-to-date collection of information concerning the status of ocular immunology is presented in this book, with a mixture of clinical and basic research information. It will also be clear to the reader that ocular immunology's various models for organ specific immune responses are remarkably adept at yielding information that has import to all in immunology. It is hoped that this volume will be an often-used reference for all those interested in ocular immunology and immunopathology, and that it will be a solid foundation for future work in the field.
