Description and Table of Contents
Description
The aim of this textbook is to present undergraduate dental students with a simplified account of various medical and surgical disorders. Conditions such as facial pain, haemophila, swellings about the face and surgical conditions related to the mouth are dealt with in detail, as dentists will require a full knowledge of such matters. This fifth edition has been revised and updated to include new material on hepatitis B and innumodeficiency viruses and the control of cross-infection in dentistry, in view of the major importance of these infections in recent years. The majority of chapters and sections open with a brief description of the relevant anatomy and physiology, illustrated with numerous tables, drawings, clinical photographs and X-rays.
